A cyanotype is a photo sensitive printmaking process using light exposure to create an image. This body of work is titled, Process Blue.
Process Blue is a reference to a specific color of printmaking ink comprised mostly of cyan. It’s also a reference to the literal act of processing grief. This body of work was made in 2023-2024 in memoriam to honor the deaths of loved ones.
