A B O U T
I am a printmaker and oil painter pursuing my Masters of Fine Arts at Alfred University in Upstate New York. Currently, I am working on a large body of woodcuts and cyanotypes on a beautiful 1930’s German-made offset press in the Expanded Media print shop at the University.
I have lived and worked extensively on the Thailand-Burma (Myanmar) Border, where in 2010-2011, I helped to establish an arts and crafts studio that provides Burmese migrant youth with artisan skills. In 2014-2015 I focused on a self-propelled teaching and printmaking project called Thailand Burma Flora Fauna, which enabled me to return to Mae Sot, Thailand to teach drawing and design classes to migrant children and adult art teachers. You can read more about this project here.
