In 2014-2015 I focused on a self-propelled teaching and printmaking project called Thailand Burma Flora Fauna. This Kickstarter project enabled me to travel back to Mae Sot, Thailand where I had previously lived and taught in 2010-2011.

Once in Mae Sot I led fun and experimental drawing classes for younger local migrant Burmese children, and taught more advanced teacher-training workshops for college aged migrant Burmese art teachers.

After several months of teaching and researching the plants and animals of SE Asia, I returned to Portland, Oregon where I produced a large body of related work to complete the TBFF project. This work includes drawings, letterpress, monotype, woodcut, and linocut prints exploring the flora and fauna of Thailand and Burma.
